About The Position

The Manufacturing Planner Associate at Lockheed Martin will support the Missiles and Fire Control team in Arlington, TX, focusing on the scheduling and planning of production activities. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth execution of various contracts, including Development, Production, and Post Production, by coordinating interdepartmental activities and managing the Bill of Materials (BOM).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
• 2+ years of professional experience in supply chain management or related fields.
• Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance; an Interim Secret is required before starting.

Nice To Haves

• Degree or concentration in supply chain management, business analytics, or operations management.
• Manufacturing scheduling experience.
• Data analysis skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with SAP and supply chain or engineering background.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, and contracts administration.
• Schedule and expedite the movement of parts through move orders, stock transfers, and requests for shipping orders.
• Travel and communicate to all production sites and vendor locations as necessary.
• Work outside of normal operating hours may be required.
