Requirements

• Experience in Production Operations
• Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
• Previous PP&C experience
• Previous leadership experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access.
• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment
• MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
• This facility requires special access and therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen

Responsibilities

• Manages the daily activities of 5-15 direct report PP&C Planners. Responsible for employee performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions, and assists with recruitment, selection, and training of new employees.
• Maintains production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization to minimize cost. Expedites and optimizes material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements. Coordinates with Manufacturing and Operations Management to provide status on procured parts, analyzes and controls production schedule and capacity requirements, executes the plan, and expedites or develops workaround plans to preserve schedule.
• Coordinates with Supply Chain Stakeholders including Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time phased plan for procured parts and executes processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements. Maintains MRP parameters including lead times and lot sizes to ensure economic order quantity policies are being met.
