The North America MOQ Electrical Systems Lead serves as the regional expert responsible for elevating electrical quality performance across all North American manufacturing plants. This role identifies systemic and chronic electrical issues, drives structured problem solving, and ensures common standards and testing methodologies are consistently deployed. While the position has no direct reports, it functions as the indirect leader and technical mentor for all QPE‑Electrical engineers in the region—developing their capabilities, guiding their technical direction, and shaping how electrical quality is executed within the organization. The Electrical Systems Lead also plays a critical role in new model launches by supporting QTEAMs as the primary electrical systems authority for the NA Quality organization. The individual in this role leads enterprise‑wide initiatives to analyze data, identify trends, and resolve recurring electrical systems issues, working closely with cross‑functional partners in Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality. They develop and deploy best practices and standardized electrical testing approaches across plants, ensuring alignment to new and existing corporate standards. A key part of the job is sharing learnings across sites, driving read‑across of systemic issues and ensuring consistent execution of diagnostics and test methods. The Electrical Systems Lead coaches Quality Engineering both technically and interpersonally, influences without authority at multiple organizational levels, and proactively pushes for higher standards, improved processes, and a more robust electrical quality system across the region. They also provide expert oversight and readiness assessments during launch, ensuring strong electrical validation, troubleshooting, and containment strategies at start of production.
