Life is Sweeter at Georgia Nut. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Manufacturing Operator to join our production team. In this role, you’ll support daily manufacturing operations by running equipment, monitoring production processes, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a repetitive-motion environment.
  • Basic math, reading, and mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment operation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision being a team player.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or related industrial environments (preferred but not always required).
  • Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot assigned production equipment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety rules, and quality guidelines.
  • Perform routine checks to ensure machinery is functioning properly.
  • Inspect products for defects and maintain consistent quality control.
  • Accurately complete production logs, documentation, and inventory records.
  • Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and basic preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate production issues promptly.
