About The Position

The Role: Our Bedford, MA site is hiring a Manufacturing Operator II for 1st shift (Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM) to join our ESC Operations team. This handson role primarily involves operating SiC media blast tools to decontaminate variety of fixtures. The position will also be expected to crosstrain and support additional areas, including thin-film coating tools, RIE tools, assembly, and wet etch processes used in the manufacturing of EChucks. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to work comfortably in a SiC media blast environment while using appropriate PPE. What You’ll Do: Follow all safety best practices and wear required PPE while on the production floor. This role requires frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques. Set up and operate SiC media blast equipment, including configuring media blast parameters, operating various lift stations, and carefully loading different fixture types to run the tool efficiently. Willingly cross-train in additional areas such as part assembly, wet etch operations, and coating equipment operation. Perform basic troubleshooting to resolve minor issues before escalating to Maintenance or Engineering teams. Set up and remove (de-fixture) parts for vacuum and processing equipment, and clean fixtures and parts as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all Entegris 6S standards. Follow production priorities and complete assigned tasks accordingly; proactively communicate delays or issues to supervisors. Record work confirmations in SAP and enter inspection and production data into Camline. Actively participate in shift pass-down discussions to communicate updates on safety, quality, and production priorities. Follow work instructions and accurately complete work orders and all required documentation. Inspect parts visually and using metrology tools in accordance with quality procedures. Stay focused on assigned tasks and complete all required work within the shift. Demonstrate good judgment by recognizing when something is wrong and practicing a “see something, say something” mindset. Provide process improvement feedback to Engineers when applicable. Work overtime as required to support production needs. Uphold and promote Entegris’s PACE Values in daily work activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5-years of manufacturing experience preferred(Sandblasting experience is a plus)
  • Ability to read, understand and follow documented processes and procedures.
  • Good attention to detail; ability to perform basic math computations and computer data entry.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs, climb a ladder up to 4 ft, and be able to walk and stand during the entire shift.
  • Ability to use measuring devices and hand tools.
  • Ability to repetitively pinch and grasp hand tools, repetitively twist, bend and reach upward and handle all materials required in manufacturing, etc.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to work in different environments
  • Must be proficient in English language to be able to read documentation, communicate, and write.
