About The Position
As a Manufacturing Operator at Abbott, you will play a crucial role in our Nutrition division, specifically at our Casa Grande, Arizona location. This position is essential in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the creation of science-based nutrition products that help people of all ages. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to enhancing the lives of millions worldwide through our leading brands such as Similac®, PediaSure®, Pedialyte®, Ensure®, and Glucerna®. Your work will directly impact the quality and availability of these vital products, making a difference in the health and well-being of our customers. In this role, you will follow established procedures and guidelines to perform a variety of manual tasks that are integral to the production process. This includes loading materials into production machines, removing, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished products, and ensuring that all production waste is disposed of according to our recycling policies. You will also be responsible for cleaning production equipment and work areas to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Meeting compliance standards, including FDA and OSHA regulations, is a critical aspect of your responsibilities. The position requires you to work a 12-hour night shift from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, with a schedule that allows for every other weekend off. This unique shift structure provides a balance between work and personal time, allowing you to enjoy a fulfilling life outside of work. You will undergo a two-week training period to ensure you are well-prepared for your role and understand all safety and operational protocols.
