Your Role: The Manufacturing Operator 3 is responsible for operations related to final packaging, boxing or picking of products to the established quality standards to meet customer demand and expectations. Additionally, optimize operations to realize maximum efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in material handling or manufacturing operations

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in ERP systems for processing transactions and issuing materials, with the ability to train and guide others in these tasks
  • Highly adaptable, with the ability to learn new production processes quickly and shift tasks to meet changing departmental priorities
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on quality control and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for reporting production information, combined with proficiency in computer data entry and basic math
  • Demonstrated knowledge of diverse manufacturing processes and product specifications
  • Reliable and collaborative team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Perform start-up and shut-down procedures for the production line
  • Meet daily production targets set by your supervisor
  • Follow all written instructions, especially Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Report any product quality issues or ideas for improvement to your team lead
  • Work with other teams (like kitting and shipping) to get the materials needed for production
  • Assist with weekly inventory counts and issuing materials to work orders
  • Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), such as forklifts, safely
  • Adhere to all safety rules, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety tools like box cutters and lifters
