The Manufacturing Operator I is a temporary role responsible for executing day-to-day production activities to support high-quality, efficient, and safe manufacturing operations. This role performs hands-on tasks involving assembly, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and equipment operation while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Execute manufacturing processes including assembly, testing, inspection, and troubleshooting of products and components.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, safety requirements, and quality standards to ensure consistent product output.
  • Perform equipment set‑up, calibration, and routine preventative maintenance to ensure machines are production‑ready.
  • Identify and escalate equipment malfunctions or abnormal conditions to appropriate technical or engineering staff.
  • Collect and analyze operating data to monitor process performance and product quality.
  • Make on‑line equipment adjustments within defined limits to maintain optimal production flow and minimize downtime.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to support and execute tests, trials, and experiments aimed at improving processes or supporting new product development.
  • Provide feedback on process performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in training, guiding, and coaching other technicians and new team members to promote teamwork, consistent work practices, and technical skill development.
