About The Position

The position involves performing a variety of functions in the production of semiconductor devices, which includes using wafer fabrication tools and processes, testing products, and delivering products to work areas. The work environment is a cleanroom where employees must wear a full body, head to foot, cleanroom suit, along with additional Personal Protective Equipment when handling or working indirectly with hazardous materials. The work schedule consists of 12-hour shifts alternating between 3 and 4 day work weeks, specifically on B Shift from 6:00am to 6:00pm on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday. Employees typically spend 8-10 hours per day standing and walking while continuously lifting and moving boxes of wafers weighing approximately 10 lbs. An uncompromising dedication to following safety procedures and protocols is essential. Employees will work collaboratively and professionally in a team environment to achieve production goals.

Requirements

  • Requires between 0-2 years of related experience.
  • A college degree may be considered to offset a portion of manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to apply company policies and procedures to perform complex tasks.
  • Understanding of production needs and ability to escalate issues.
  • Ability to recognize quality problems on equipment and product and take appropriate action.
