About The Position

This is an excellent opportunity to join a pharmaceutical company and contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operation. We are looking for an individual who enjoys working in a small team setting. The successful candidate will work in our Manufacturing function and: Perform routine operations to support manufacture of injectable drug products. Primary tasks include, component preparation, cleaning, sterilization, depyrogenation, formulation, filtration, filling, freeze drying, and capping. Achieve proficiency in operating various process equipment such as components washer, steam sterilizer, dry heat oven, vial washer, lyophilizer, and vial capper. Maintain inventory levels and stock supplies for manufacturing areas. Complete accurate documentation and review and maintain area and equipment logbooks. Plan efficient execution of assigned workload.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with proven mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience.
  • Able to work independently in a sterile environment while wearing clean room clothing including a sterile gown, hood, masks, and safety glasses for 4 to 6 hours at a time.
  • Ability to be on ones feet for extended periods, 4 to 5 hours, at a time.
  • Routinely lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling 15 to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work with cleaning agents, formulation chemicals and hot water in a safe manner according to procedure(s).
  • A self-motivated team player that enjoys contributing to the success of the overall manufacturing team.
