About The Position

Imagine Your Day It’s 7:00 a.m. in Totowa, NJ. You walk the production floor, greeting operators as lines ramp up. You check yesterday’s output, scan through quality notes, and align the team on priorities. By mid-morning, you’ve rebalanced staffing to remove a bottleneck, coached a new hire through a setup, and coordinated with maintenance to avoid downtime. In the afternoon, you review safety observations, close out shift documentation, and highlight a process tweak that improves throughput for tomorrow. What You’ll Lead Direct daily production activities to ensure targets are achieved safely, on time, and with high quality. Coach, train, and mentor production team members; build skills and hold high standards. Watch key processes and adjust resources or methods to maximize efficiency. Enforce safety practices and uphold quality expectations at every step. Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and streamline flow. Keep precise records and deliver clear updates and reports to leadership. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that lift productivity and reduce waste.

Requirements

• Demonstrated background leading production teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven people leadership and the ability to guide teams through change.
• Strong analytical approach, problem-solving acumen, and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of production methods and quality control principles.
• Confident communicator—both written and verbal.
• Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
