About The Position

If you are an Manufacturing Operations Manager, with at least 5 years' of management experience in a manufacturing environment, looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting position for you! Based out of our Long Island (Edgewood, NY) office, you will oversee daily operations to ensure business efficiency, productivity and profitability of all Flexim products. As a leader in the field of clamp-on ultrasonic flow measurement, Flexim offers the ideal flow meter solutions - even for the most demanding challenges. You will be responsible for managing manufacturing processes, including planning and scheduling, shipping and receiving and procurement, while implementing protocols, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This is not a warehouse, logistics or shipping position. Technical electronics manufacturing experience, background, knowledge highly preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Five years of management experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong knowledge of manufacturing systems.
  • Proven experience in Operations Management, process improvement, or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, optimize processes, and drive results.
  • Proficiency in project management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity and compliance with company standards.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to meet financial and operational targets.
  • Monitor performance metrics and indicators to evaluate efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Quality and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop staff to enhance skills, engagement, and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Find opportunities for process improvement, automation, and cost savings.
  • Drive organizational initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems, processes, and technologies.

  • The salary range is $140,000k - $160,000k annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
