About The Position

The Student Programs at Nexteer Automotive aim to provide students with practical work experiences that complement their academic education. This position involves working with the Operational Technology team on various projects, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in a technical environment while contributing to the company's productivity and talent acquisition efforts.

Requirements

• Candidate must be attending a 2-year college or 4-year university local to Saginaw, MI.
• Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors in Computer Science or Cyber Security.
• Candidate must be able to work 20-32 hours during Fall and Winter Semesters.
• Candidate must be able to work up to 40 hours in the Summer.
• Must have a cumulative 2.7 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Must be a full-time student (12 or more credits) during Fall and Winter Semesters.
• Candidate must have the right to work in the US and not require current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operational Technology team with various projects as needed.
• Work on Standard Firewall Rules globally.
• Coordinate changes with regional OT teams and the Global OT team.
• Collaborate with Enterprise IT and other Global teams on tools and projects for manufacturing plants.
• Update global specification documentation for OT networking standards.
• Assist in the deployment of ethernet topology.
