As a Manufacturing Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you’ll safeguard the health of our equipment and facility, turning potential breakdowns into non-events and creating a safe, clean, and efficient workplace. Reporting Line: Facilities Manager Department: 506 Your Impact Lead preventive maintenance activities that extend asset life and stabilize performance. Diagnose and correct faults across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Jump on emergency calls to restore production quickly and safely. Perform routine inspections to identify wear, hazards, and opportunities to improve reliability. Service and repair conveyors, pumps, motors, and other critical mechanical systems. Support installs and start-up of new machinery and facility systems. Capture maintenance records meticulously—repairs, checks, and component replacements. Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to plan maintenance intervals and manage spare parts. Handle building upkeep tasks (doors, windows, walls, lighting) to sustain a safe environment. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to keep operations efficient and compliant. Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and all applicable regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
  • 3–5 years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience in manufacturing or similar settings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with exposure to electrical systems and HVAC.
  • Advanced troubleshooting capability across complex, multi-discipline systems.
  • Knowledge of maintenance safety standards and protocols.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Competence with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically active work for the duration of the shift.
