About The Position

Silgan Containers is seeking skilled Mechanics to join our team in Burlington, Iowa. This is a hands-on role supporting our can making operations with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Desire to operate and maintain industrial can lines with precision and care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, launch, and qualification of new canmaking machines.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify mechanical systems.
• Use precision measuring tools and work with tolerances up to .0010.
• Collaborate with management to improve safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
