About The Position

Manufacturing Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Manufacturing Managers (level K) to support the Emergent Manufacturing team based out of Auburn, Washington . As a member of the Leadership team, you will continuously lead and develop Manufacturing Teams. A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate a One BPS culture, driving a deep understanding of the One BPS principles, standards, production health and problem-solving model. Quality and Safety initiatives will require the candidate to be fully engaged in a FOD free and clean as you go approach and an IIF commitment to Safety. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
• 3+ experience of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace
• 2+ years using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of experience developing presentations for senior leadership
• 3+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding and leading team
• 3+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership

Responsibilities

• Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
• Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
• Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
• Manages, develops and motivates employees
