About The Position

Manage departmental functions including, operations, administration, strategy, budgeting, and safety within assigned areas. Train and manage performance of staff to support KPI’s. Manage adequate staffing to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Five (5) plus years managing in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Experience managing a diverse workforce in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of process workflows, procedures, and continuous improvement methodologies required
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex, English instructions, correspondence, and/or memos is required, as is the capacity to write similar correspondence relaying opportunities or findings.
  • Skill to effectively present information in one-on-one and group settings is necessary.
  • Ability to perform the analytical mathematics demanded by the business functions.
  • Aptitude to perform these operations using standard units of measurement, distance, weight, volume, and currency
  • Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions

  • Ability to apply analytical tools and common understanding to carry out detailed written and/or oral instructions and interpret diagrams and/or forms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute all activities associated with respect to quality, customer service, cost, environmental, health and safety within assigned area.
  • Responsible for driving results and achieving operational goals and targets identified in “Key Performance Indicators” (KPI).
  • Develop and implement consistent processes and procedures to support efficient operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and utilize structured problem-solving techniques to create and implement solutions.
  • Manage improvement efforts across all areas (quality, capacity, costs, etc…), that eliminate non-value-added processes and waste.
  • Achieve metrics and KPI’s to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Work closely with other staff members to maintain a well cross trained workforce.
  • Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and counseling associates.
  • Practice, comply and enforce all requirements of our Quality Management System (QMS), as well as regulations promoting a safe and healthy workplace environment
  • Identify cost saving opportunities while aligning the continuous improvement initiatives and company’s operation plan.
  • Supervise team to include selection, training and development, coaching, counseling and performance management.
