As part of our recent growth, we are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage and coordinate production activities associated with the Sheet Metal and Assembly.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and oversee all sheet metal fabrication and assembly operations to meet production schedules and customer requirements
Ensure efficient workflow, capacity utilization, and labor allocation across departments and shifts
Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) including safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost
Resolve production issues, bottlenecks, and quality concerns in a timely manner
Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, team leads, and production staff
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
Responsible for hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of manufacturing personnel
Promote employee engagement and adherence to company values
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
Drive a strong safety culture and lead incident investigations and corrective actions
Partner with Quality to ensure products meet specifications, workmanship standards, and customer expectations
Support audits and compliance activities as required
Lead and support Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives
Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve throughput, and lower manufacturing costs
Collaborate with Engineering on process improvements, new product introductions, and tooling or equipment changes
Support standard work development and process documentation
Work closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning to ensure smooth operations
Provide input on production planning, capital expenditures, and resource needs
Communicate production status, risks, and improvement plans to plant leadership
Is responsible for direct supervision of department employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
