About The Position

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager. Excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and self-directed individual to join a stable and reputable manufacturing company of engineered mechanical components. Please note that this is NOT an office position. This is a 'hands-on' position.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 7-10 years Managerial experience.
• Mechanical abilities required.
• Experience with lathes, grinders, blueprint reading a plus.
• Other skills helpful: MRP/Inventory Control; Lean Manufacturing 5-S; and Quality Control.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall direction, coordination of department(s) consisting multiple employees.
• Inspects products for conformance.
• Directs setup and adjustments of machines and process equipment.
• Sets/adjusts production schedules.
• Applies and enforces company policies and safety regulations.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Troubleshoot complicated equipment.
• Inspection and Maintenance – familiarity with methods and procedures.
