Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year supervisory experience required; 3 or more years preferred
  • Exceptional leadership and team building skills
  • Able to multitask and handle stress in a highly productive environment
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

  • Assure the running continuity of the equipment at standard or better than standard conditions
  • Establish a pattern and flow of communication within the plant, ensuring that each level of responsibility is properly informed
  • Clearly communicate expectations, issues and feedback
  • Plan and organize the manufacturing activities, obtain proper support to define operating duties of employees under their direct or indirect supervision
  • Assist in problem solving in all areas of plant
  • Provide guidance and direction to staff including hiring, disciplinary action, staff development, goal formulation and performance review
  • Direct interview processes and coordinate training of new shop employees
  • Partner with the Safety Manager to direct safety meetings and ensure ongoing safety training for all shop employees
  • Partner with HR in giving guidance and direction to staff with regards to hiring, disciplinary action, development, goal formulation and performance reviews
  • Adapt to change in a positive and productive manner
  • Work as a team player in a fast paced environment, with strong work ethic, attention to details and find root causes for issues
  • Demonstrate dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs
  • Adhere to and uphold the CMC Safety Culture, organizational policies, practices, and confidentiality agreements
