About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking Manufacturing Managers (Level K) to support the Auburn Tooling Services (ATS) team located in Puyallup and/or Auburn, Washington on 2nd Shift. Position Responsibilities: Manages employees performing activities in multiple Tooling manufacturing disciplines. Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Drive the implementation of OneBPS to support on time deliveries within the department Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives
  • 1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, quality, and cost
  • 3+ years of experience collaborating with cross functional teams
  • 3+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or One Boeing Production System (One BPS)
  • 3+ years of experience with Project Management
