About The Position

Manufacturing Manager – Production Equipment Maintenance Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Manufacturing Manager (level K) to support Production Equipment Maintenance (PEM) team in Mascoutah, IL! Position Responsibilities: Manages PEM employee activities within the production maintenance occupation including production maintenance planning, analysis, project administration, property administration, production maintenance provisioning, engineering, construction and Plant & Equipment maintenance Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers Manages, develops and motivates employees

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in Production Equipment Maintenance
• Leadership experience in a formal or informal role
• This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
• An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
• This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with Ground Support Equipment Maintenance
• Experience with Flight Ramp Operations
• Experience managing paint processes
