About The Position

Manufacturing Manager – Paint Operations Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Manufacturing Manager – Paint Operations (level K) to support STL Paint Operations Team in Berkeley, MO! Position Responsibilities: Manages employees performing activities in multiple paint manufacturing areas Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Oversight and Ownership to Zero injury and First Time Quality culture Manage, inspire, develop and motivate employees This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A Final U.S. secret clearance Prestart is required OR An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience Painting Experience in one or more of the following specialties: Aerospace or Automotive Paint Application, Paints & Coatings, Inorganic Chemical Processes, Environmental Health and Safety, or Sealants
• Leadership experience in a formal or informal capacity
• Experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
• This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
• A Final U.S. secret clearance Prestart is required OR An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required
• This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
