About The Position

The Production team is looking for a versatile aerospace manufacturing leader tasked with overseeing the production of our low earth orbit satellites. This position will be a key leadership role in the manufacturing and assembly process for our products. They will be responsible for executing the design for manufacturability and continue improvement to delivery space-grade avionics, structures, and propulsion hardware at high rate and low cost. Personnel safety and product reliability are will always be top of mind for this candidate. The role will serve as the advocate of the team and the technical subject matter expert for the greater production and supply chain organization to ensure that they have the resources they need to succeed. The candidate will develop and sustain a vision for growth and development of both the members of the team and the capabilities of the manufacturing and supply chain department. A successful candidate for this role will demonstrate integrity, intellectual curiosity, empathy, technical capability, and a strong motivation to support their team. This position’s internal job code is Manufacturing Manager. Our team is currently hiring for a level K.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience leading technician teams
  • Experience working with various manufacturing execution systems
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Security Clearance Post-Start is required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the aerospace industry
  • Proficiency with PC Applications, especially Excel
  • Excellent written and Verbal Communications
  • Associate's degree (or equivalent) in business
  • Demonstrated ability to aggregate, visualize, and analyze data to make informed decisions (i.e. SQL, Excel, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Familiarity with satellite assembly and integration
  • Demonstrated ability to scale manufacturing rate capability

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of ATLO technicians responsible for spacecraft or hardware assembly, integration, and testing
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily ATLO operations, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule
  • Ensure technicians follow engineering procedures, work instructions, and quality standards during assembly and test activities
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues and support integration and test milestones
  • Manage technician scheduling, training, and performance, ensuring the team has the skills and resources needed for mission success
  • Oversee the use and maintenance of tools, ground support equipment, and test systems required for ATLO activities
  • Support troubleshooting and anomaly resolution during integration and testing phases
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, cleanroom standards, and configuration control requirements
  • Support launch campaign preparations, including final vehicle integration, testing, and readiness activities
