About The Position

Manufacturing Manager – 777X Assembly Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager – 777X Assembly (Level K) to join our 777X team in Berkeley, MO. This is an exciting opportunity to lead 777X Assembly for BDS Operations. The BDS 777X Assembly team is responsible for assembling 12 commodities with 67 total assemblies for the BCA 777X program including: rudder, elevators, flaperons, ailerons, folding wing tips, fixed leading edges, flaps, fairings and spoilers. The BDS 777X Assembly Manager is responsible for daily operations and performance to all key performance indicators: safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with or supporting aircraft
• 3+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Experience working on aircraft assembly line
• Experience with working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, quality, delivery & cost commitments, and utilizing the Boeing Production System
• Experience formally leading a team
• Experience managing a Collective Bargaining Unit (CBU)/hourly union-represented workforce

• Develops and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
• Performs to plan on all key performance indicators: people, safety, quality, delivery, cost, and innovation
