About The Position

As a leader in the Blades Product Center at Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, you will manage all aspects of assigned build positions, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule in the manufacturing process. Your role will involve fostering communication within a union environment, leading continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies, and overseeing employee development and quality initiatives.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or operations.
• Strong influencing skills and ability to manage/resolve employee conflict.
• Experience in leading a team and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Lean manufacturing and process improvement experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for all organizational levels.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced abilities with Microsoft Office products, SAP, Solumina.
• Familiarity with the aerospace industry.
• Previous supervisor experience in a union environment.
• Previous Sikorsky experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and manage all aspects of assigned build positions.
• Ensure safety, quality, cost, and schedule of the manufacturing process.
• Foster accurate and transparent communication with internal customers and employees in a union environment.
• Lead transformation efforts through Six Sigma tools and champion continuous improvement.
• Oversee employee development and quality initiatives, including 6S and EH&S compliance.
• Manage both direct and indirect budgets and maintain facility schedules.
