About the position

The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a manufacturing department, ensuring that operations meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This role demands a proactive leader who exemplifies our core values, demonstrates strong emotional regulation, and effectively manages cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all manufacturing processes meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
  • Actively manage safety programs to integrate safety measures into daily operations.
  • Lead, motivate, retain and develop a diverse team by fostering an environment of trust and collaboration.
  • Implement training programs and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team capabilities and performance.
  • Monitor and review performance metrics regularly, holding the team accountable for meeting targets.
  • Lead effective team meetings and use visual management tools to drive decision-making and improvements.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and other senior leaders to align manufacturing strategies with the company's overall objectives.
  • Participate in community service projects and maintain proactive communication with all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED.
  • 3-5 years of industry experience in a manufacturing environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associates degree preferred at minimum.
  • Management/Leadership experience.
  • Lean proficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office including D365.
