We are currently hiring a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician at our Rushville, Indiana production facility. Work Schedule: Peak season (September–March): Rotating shifts Up to three (3) shifts/week 8–10 hour shifts 5–6 working days per week Off-peak season (April–August): Standard 8-hour day shift Occasional overtime

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing, Electronics, Agriculture, or related field
  • Ability to work in varied environments (indoor/outdoor, hot/cold/wet/dry)
  • Ability to climb, work at heights, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive tasks
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and overtime during peak season
  • Commitment to safety and teamwork

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Technical Degree in Maintenance, Manufacturing, Electrical, Agriculture, or related
  • Experience with agricultural production equipment
  • Electrical systems knowledge or electrician certification
  • Understanding of HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical systems
  • Experience with conveyors, elevators, and packaging machinery
  • SAP Enterprise Asset Management experience
  • Millwright, pneumatic, or hydraulic repair skills
  • Forklift and truck operation experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, repairs, and equipment improvements
  • Support plant operations and assist with capital projects
  • Maintain shop organization, tools, and equipment conditions
  • Implement and train on Preventative Maintenance (PM) plans
  • Conduct seasonal maintenance prep, annual PMs, and infrastructure repairs
  • Use Predictive Maintenance tools to identify and prevent equipment failures
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, control systems, instrumentation, and HVAC
  • Complete fabrication tasks to improve plant processes
  • Maintain detailed equipment records and documentation
  • Support Process Safety Management (PSM) and all site safety programs
  • Provide facility and grounds maintenance as needed
  • Model and promote safety as the #1 priority
