About The Position

Allegion is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, full-time in Snoqualmie, WA at our Technical Glass Products facility. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing advanced level maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. This role supports production goals by minimizing downtime, maintaining equipment performance, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 years in industrial maintenance or related field.
  • Advanced knowledge with machines, tools, equipment, and facility maintenance.
  • Advanced knowledge of CNC, robotics, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and controls.
  • Knowledge of maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
  • Computer literacy.

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman card or Associate degree in related field.
  • Welding, Tooling, HVAC, and building systems knowledge.
  • Advanced skill with CMMS and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with chemicals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on production equipment, CNC machinery, robotics, and facility systems with limited supervision.
  • Implement maintenance improvement projects and support autonomous maintenance initiatives to optimize equipment reliability.
  • Trouble shooting equipment issues using diagnostic and measuring instruments such as multimeters, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Perform production equipment and facility maintenance as directed.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks following established schedules and procedures.
  • Safely and effectively use hand and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Complete maintenance logs, work orders, and reports accurately using CMMS software or other tracking systems.
  • Conduct and document root cause analysis of equipment failures, and communicate findings for process improvement.
  • Adhere to safety protocols including lockout/tagout, arc flash, PPE usage, OSHA regulations, and report potential hazards.
  • Collaborate and communicate with team members, supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel to solve problems and improve processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians; cross-train in other areas and adapt to new technologies or processes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace; store tools and equipment properly.
  • Work overtime as needed to meet maintenance goals and support production.
  • Other duties as assigned.
