About The Position

Do you know your way around a tool box? We're looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Manufacturing Maintenance Technician with light industrial experience including preventative equipment maintenance and mechanical repairs. Requirements

Hands-on experience in a high volume continuous manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with continuous production lines.
Experience with product packaging.
Experience and proficiency with hand tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude with proven experience working in a high paced industrial environment.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Basic computer knowledge for data entry.
Ability to work in a team environment on the production line.
Ability to work independently and complete assignments in a timely manner.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 30 pounds constantly throughout the assigned shift.

Responsibilities

Supports all plant operations through preventative maintenance, changeover, set-up, and repair of plant equipment.
Maintains all plant equipment including sanitizing, cleaning, lubricating, and making mechanical repairs.
Performs preventative maintenance procedures on equipment and facility and completes assigned maintenance work orders.
Performs various special projects according to skill and ability.
Ensures all safety policies are strictly followed and constantly looking for opportunities to make the work area safer for all employees.
Provides training and mentors junior mechanics and machine operators.
