About The Position

The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician II at Medtronic plays a crucial role in supporting the manufacturing of medical device components. Requirements

• Requires minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• 4+ years of experience in operations within medical device or pharmaceutical industries; basic job knowledge of systems, techniques and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
• Experience in medical device industry, preferably with endovascular therapies, products and technologies.
• Working knowledge of process development and validation.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
• Experience with equipment qualification and troubleshooting.
• Experience using common electronic documentation software (e.g. MAP, Agile or equivalent).
• 4+ years of experience managing assets digitally is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performs analysis and training of a variety of manufacturing equipment and processes including electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
• Introduction to using Medtronic systems for schematics and engineering drawings.
• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Attends supervised training to perform preventative maintenance by shadowing an experienced equipment maintenance technician.
• Manages assets and spare parts digitally and conducts inventory analysis.
• Participates in Maintenance Excellence workshops to understand the importance of equipment reliability.
