About The Position

As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician II, you will provide customer-oriented service and support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will perform corrective and preventative maintenance on manufacturing washers, autoclaves, centrifuge, Bioreactors, tanks, pumps, and other production equipment at our BioSite location. This position requires a solid understanding of manufacturing systems including mechanical, electrical and control principles.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or related manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience with maintaining and repairing pharmaceutical and biotech related equipment preferred.
  • Ability to occasionally climb ladders, crawl into tight spaces, and move/lift test equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for up to 3 hours at a time.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and usage of hand and power tools to perform assignments preferred.
  • Knowledge of CMMS system.
  • Knowledge of Lock-Out Tag-Out to energized systems.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Responsible Engineers and Manufacturing personnel to troubleshoot equipment problems.
  • Perform preventative and corrective work order maintenance.
  • Assist in troubleshooting mechanical problems and work with outside vendors to resolve recurring issues.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures in performance of assigned duties.
  • Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair logbooks.
  • Work independently, with only general supervision and instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new assignments.
  • Navigate in a CMMS system to find and close out work orders.
  • Schedule workload with planner.
  • Perform small projects as directed by the Supervisor.
