About The Position

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be part of our T&O Global Supply Chain team working as an on-site employee. You'll supervise all facilities and production maintenance needs, including supporting the preventive maintenance program while ensuring all safety & quality requirements are met. You will direct efforts of maintenance and facilities team members to achieve daily manufacturing work schedules, driving team members to meet or exceed all goals of safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will take a lead role in troubleshooting plant-wide problems, determining and coordinating resources needed for problem resolution. You will be responsible for work assignments of team members, overtime work schedules, and overtime management of assigned departments as approved through supervision. Additionally, you will be responsible for OJT training of team members within assigned departments and for daily, weekly, & monthly documentation of assigned work area as it pertains to 5S & safety audits, efficiency reporting, SPC reporting, scrap reporting, maintenance work orders, & DMR maintenance. You will also be responsible for scheduling department work centers & equipment to meet departmental output per 13-week schedules, facilitating team meetings for communication, and implementing continuous improvement in areas of safety, quality, delivery, & cost. You will work closely with area supervisors for talent management and conflict resolution, interact with site contractors to complete special project tasks, and satisfy internal and external customer & supplier needs. You will interface with the local power company in the event of storm or other electrical outages and manage contractors to include all EHS compliance, project scope, and scheduling.

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • 1+ years supporting Manufacturing/Production environments, preferred.
  • Prior work experience in a trade discipline such as Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc., preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with electrical and mechanical industrial maintenance, including equipment installation.
  • Level 3 machinist skills in all areas of the department assigned.
  • Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office programs and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) programs.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts a plus.
