About The Position

This Maintenance Planner is responsible for the organization, planning and scheduling of all maintenance work performed at the facility. Maintains CMMS system for scheduled PM's and emergency maintenance repairs on all manufacturing equipment. Engage with vendors, contractors, internal customers, plant and corporate leadership and direct team mates to facilitate the execution of maintenance work. Associate can plan, maintain tooling, and fabricate replacement parts utilizing all fabrication and machining equipment. Performs basic to complex grounds/facilities repairs and ensures accuracy of records and safety in all operations. Provide proper, timely service to maintenance customers (production, warehouse, paint line, etc.) Be easy to get in touch with, willing to hear ideas and accommodating. React to customer needs with a sense of urgency Develops and schedules preventive maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime. Identifies and addresses equipment failure issues, recommending improvements to policies and procedures. May supervise maintenance groups in the absence of a supervisor. Prepares and maintains work orders, ensuring technicians have the necessary tools and parts. Manages critical parts inventory, procures materials, and ensures timely availability of supplies. Communicates with maintenance and production staff regarding maintenance activities and progress. Collects and maintains records, including uptime, PM history, and repair completion rates. Ensure corrective work orders are written from PM work activities Meet work specifications and quality standards for each assignment Prepare daily work schedules Identify needed parts to repair equipment and facility Complete required paperwork to order new parts and to track existing parts Coordinate maintenance of parts inventory with MRO and purchasing personnel Seek ways to conserve resources and improve costs and efficiency

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of Manufacturing Maintenance experience required
  • 5+ years of direct CMMS experience. (Maintenance Connection preferred)
  • Strong organizational and planning skills are essential for effectively managing maintenance schedules and work orders
  • Must have basic knowledge of Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical and Mechanical Equipment, Machine Breakdown
  • Must be able to distinguish colors and have correctable eyesight and correctable hearing
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist, and lift 51 to 100 lbs with assistance
  • Must be able to handle multiple demands and pressure situations while working in a fast-paced production environment
  • Position requires walking, standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, crawling, bending, twisting
  • Work involves high-voltage equipment and rapidly moving machinery; constant attention to safe practices is required
  • Work in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to equipment noise, temperature extremes, and dust
  • Required personal protective equipment, mechanical and electrical tools, and or fabrication/machining equipment required to complete the assigned task
  • Safe work performance is required from each Team Member at all times
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
