Your Key Areas of Impact Equipment Monitoring and Basic Troubleshooting: You will actively monitor manufacturing equipment to identify performance issues, ensuring smooth operations. By conducting basic troubleshooting on production-related machinery, such as motors, conveyor systems, degreasing equipment, and palletizing units, you will help identify and report potential failures early, allowing for prompt corrective action. Your quick response to minor malfunctions helps reduce downtime and supports continuous production flow. Preventive Maintenance and Routine Inspections: You will perform scheduled visual inspections of key machinery. By following established maintenance procedures, you will contribute to the longevity of equipment and minimize unexpected failures. Your ability to recognize early signs of wear and report them to maintenance supervisors ensures timely repairs and system reliability. Assistance with Repairs and Component Replacement: You will support maintenance technicians in performing mechanical and electrical repairs, including replacing worn or defective components such as motors, belts, bearings, and pneumatic systems. By assisting with part installations and calibrations, you will gain hands-on experience in industrial maintenance while ensuring production equipment remains in optimal condition. You will also support the setup and alignment of new machinery, conduct test runs after repairs, and assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical failures under the guidance of senior technicians. All maintenance activities will be performed as part of a team to ensure effective task execution. Your role requires the proficient use of hand and power tools, including wrenches, drills, grinders, multimeters, and torque tools, to assist in the completion of maintenance and repair tasks efficiently. Housekeeping and Work Area Organization: You will contribute to maintaining a clean and organized maintenance area by following 5S principles and properly storing tools and equipment. By keeping work areas free from clutter and hazards, you will enhance safety and efficiency within the maintenance department. Compliance and Safety Adherence: You will follow all workplace safety regulations and procedures and will use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
