About The Position

The Manufacturing Maintenance Helper at The Gluten Free Baking Company is responsible for assisting in routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operation of equipment and machinery. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Entry-level position with under 1 year of experience.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Dependable transportation to and from work.
• Willingness to attend assigned training courses at the company's expense.

• Experience with CMMS systems.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment and machinery.
• Support Shift Engineers in complex repair tasks by providing tools, materials, and hands-on assistance.
• Participate in the inspection of buildings, facilities, and equipment to identify repair needs and safety hazards.
• Facilitate the setup and breakdown of company assets according to the production schedule.
• Execute minor repairs on buildings, including patching walls, painting, and fixing door handles.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, parts, and tools, ensuring an organized presentation for ease of use.
• Perform emergency duties in the event of spills, leaks, or other immediate safety concerns.
• Assist the Chief Engineer with accurate management of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Complete other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
