About The Position

We are looking for experienced Machine Operators to join our fast-growing manufacturing team! Do you want to be a part of an organization to learn and develop your skills- this is the opportunity for you! Normal hours: 2nd shift: 11:30am-8:00pm Monday-Friday +$2.00 shift differential added after 4pm occasional Saturdays due to business! This position is located in Edmond/North OKC.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a production environment is required.
  • Experience operating industrial manufacturing machines required.
  • Ability to read drawings and measurement equipment is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic use of Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Comfortable doing hot work and being consistently exposed to high temperatures.
  • Knowledge of safe workplace practices in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Requires strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or on a team.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.
  • Knowledge of forklift operation and safety a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Adjust, calibrate and test equipment at the beginning of every shift to ensure proper pressure, speed, temperature and general operation.
  • Examine visually, weigh and measure components created from equipment to ensure machines are producing according to company and industry regulations and standards, adjusting as needed.
  • Work with team members, maintenance personnel and leaders to ensure any complications are dealt with quickly and correctly.
  • Communicate with fellow team members to learn of any equipment problems or malfunctions and take care of them as they come up.
  • Maintain and clean equipment using regulated cleaning solutions, grease guns, oil cans, air hoses and cleaning cloths.
  • Choose and install cutters, molds and all other necessary equipment parts so machines are always operating at peak efficiency.
  • Communicate clearly and accurately to the following shift to ensure a smooth handoff.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
  • Other duties as necessary.
