As our Manufacturing Line Operations Supervisor, you’ll guide a key production line to consistent, long-term results—safety, quality, delivery, cost, sustainability, and morale—while developing the next generation of technical experts. What a day looks like Kick off shift huddles translating section goals into clear line and unit targets so every team member sees how their work fuels site outcomes. Walk the line to verify equipment is kept at basic conditions and AM/PM standards are executed on dedicated assets—hands-on with AM Step 4 and PM Step 3 systems. Lead loss elimination using Total Productive Maintenance and Six Sigma methods, with capability through AM Steps 5–6 and PM Step 3. Coach, recognize, and grow your team—recruiting, retaining, developing, and succession-planning while spotting high-potential talent. Own the numbers: build budgets, manage costs, uphold governance and compliance, and protect product quality and worker safety. What you bring Proven leadership of line teams; calm, tactful approach to difficult interpersonal situations and experience influencing within a unionized setting. Hands-on mastery with Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Step 4 and Progressive/Planned Maintenance (PM) Step 3; capable of maintaining basic conditions independently and executing break-down and planned maintenance standards. Applied TPM and Six Sigma tools to drive sustained performance and eliminate losses. Sharp written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail. Location, schedule, and work setting This role is 100% on-site at our Chicago Bakery (7300 S Kedzie Ave, Chicago IL 60629). The position is for first shift; additional shift options may be available. Pay, bonus, and benefits Base salary range: $83,800–$115,225 , dependent on experience, skills, education, and budget. You’ll also be eligible for a highly competitive bonus program with potential overachievement tied to individual and company performance.
