Manufacturing Laser Operator 2nd shift
About The Position
2ND SHIFT WORK DAYS - Monday - Thursday WORK HOURS - 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM PAY RATE - $25.00 - $30.00hr. depending on experience and shift differential pay available Positions Available - 2 positions to fill Must have prior experience to be considered Must be located in Colorado - No out of state Applicants ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Operates Laser cutting machines to manufacture parts, equipment, and other components from sheet metal. Machine examples include Amamda ENSIS, FO, EMLK, & Trumpf • Operates press material loader/unloader. • Prepares, sets up, and adjusts Laser cutting machine as required by product plans and production schedules. • Measures and aligns materials to be used. • Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications. • Performs routine maintenance on the laser cutter. • Maintains a clean work area. • Performs other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate laser cutter controls. • Ability to follow instructions. • Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans. • Basic computer and math skills • High school diploma or equivalent required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Physically able to operate the laser cutting machine. • Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials. • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time. EXPERIENCE • Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred) • Laser Cutting Machine Operator: 1 year (Preferred)
