About The Position

Conduct analytical testing of various vegetable oils using Stratas SOPs in a manufacturing facility. Recording corresponding data electronically. Clean and organize laboratory in a food manufacturing environment.
Testing of samples at various points in the process: production samples, inbound and outbound truck samples.

Requirements

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent - Required & Verified
• Related Experience: Experience with food safety a plus. Previous laboratory experience helpful, but not required.
• Equipment/Software Skills: Basic Computer Data Entry Skills - Required

Responsibilities

• Communicate to management when test results indicate that corrective action is necessary
• Prioritize oil samples as they arrive in the laboratory
• Complete analytical testing and paperwork in a timely manner
• Enter all analysis into data base (TLC)
• Learn procedures as necessary
• Develop a thorough understanding of laboratory processes and procedures
• Attend all training and safety meetings as scheduled
