About The Position

We are seeking a Manufacturing IT Developer III to support our Client's manufacturing operations in Trenton, SC. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing IT solutions that directly impact production efficiency, quality control, and operational performance. The successful candidate will work closely with manufacturing teams, systems engineers, and IT leadership to design and implement custom applications, integrations, and technical solutions that enhance manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, C#, Python, or similar)
• Experience with SQL and relational database design
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes or industrial IT environments
• Experience with system integration and API development
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly
• Ability to work onsite in Trenton, SC
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass background check and security clearance if required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Knowledge of IoT technologies and industrial automation
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom software applications and solutions for manufacturing environments
• Collaborate with production teams to identify IT needs and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Design and implement system integrations between manufacturing equipment, ERP systems, and data management platforms
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely support to manufacturing operations
• Optimize application performance and ensure system reliability in production environments
• Document technical specifications, code, and system processes
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing IT infrastructure
• Stay current with emerging technologies and manufacturing IT best practices
