That means managing accuracy, forecasting demand, reducing waste, and leading your team like a well-oiled machine. This role requires someone who’s run inventory in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent experience
- 3–5+ years of manufacturing inventory management (cabinet industry = huge bonus)
- 1–2+ years leading people or processes, we need a driver, not a passenger
- ERP experience a must (NetSuite, Epicor, SAP, etc.)
- Excel wizardry (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, inventory audits, the whole deal).
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or CI methods, or just really good common sense
Responsibilities
- Own the entire inventory lifecycle, no babysitting needed
- Keep stock accurate through smart systems, spot checks, and usage analysis
- Forecast what’s coming so we’re never short, and never overstocked
- Be the bridge between purchasing and production, timing is everything
- Use our ERP (and your brain) to find waste, cut it, and speed things up
- Mentor your inventory control team and build a culture of pride and precision
- Recommend changes, own the process, and drive measurable improvements
