About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technician to join our team in a clean, high-tech environment. This role offers hands-on experience with advanced equipment such as lasers, microscopes, and precision testing tools. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure success across multiple operations. Role Purpose: To safely assemble high-quality parts for biomedical and communication devices in a timely manner to help achieve the production schedule and to meet customer delivery requirements.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude for small scale assembly.
• Ability to follow work instructions.
• Ability to work unsupervised to meet schedules and deadlines required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions required.
• Ability to use measurement equipment to verify quality requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Willing and able to work with and assist co-workers.
• Dependability in attendance and completion of assigned duties.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Attention to detail required.
• Ability to work at bench standing and/or sitting for 4 hours at a time.
• Visual acuity to read precision scales and calipers.
• Adequate dexterity for using various hand tools.
• Wear PPE as required.
• Minimum HS diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with mechanical assembly/disassembly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble materials in accordance with work instructions, prints, and assembly aids to meet quality standards
• Label, package, and complete required documentation for finished goods
• Operate production machinery and assist with machine setup and changeovers
• Inspect and measure parts to ensure they meet dimensional and cosmetic specifications
• Accurately enter data and maintain records in LaborTrak production software
• Comply with ISO quality standards in all activities
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Perform additional duties as assigned
