Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience in a machining/sheet metal shop environment within the aerospace industry.
• Knowledge and understanding of basic inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauge).

Responsibilities

• Inspect products to blue prints, specification, and work instructions.
• Perform hand checks of products with a variety of measurement devices.
• Setup and run CMM inspection machines and programs.
• Complete inspection reports and review process control plans.
• Follow management's system process for control of non-conforming product.
• Communicate with Manufacturing Operators and Engineers on non-conformities and aid in determining improvements.
• Communicate with all internal inspection staff members to determine and review product conformity.
• Adhere to Management System policies, practices, and procedures.
• Submit change requests.
• Solve problems and provide technical guidance and training to staff as required.
• Continuously learn and interpret GD&T.
