ROLE SUMMARY The Director role is responsible for delivery of solutions, products, and dashboards that enable the Production Management processes IMEx (Integrated Manufacturing Experience) across 36 sites. The Digital capabilities help drive operational efficiency, PGS transformation and provide actionable insights which enable “One Best Way”. Key responsibilities include overseeing the Digital Operations Center (DOC) product suite and supporting tools. This role will collaborate across disciplines to integrate advanced analytics, AI and manufacturing strategies into scalable solutions that drive continuous improvement while rationalizing and simplifying the solutions. The role also entails stakeholder management and governance at various levels with PGS and Digital & Technology organizations. What You Will Achieve In this role, you will be responsible for:

Requirements

  • Education: A Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Information Systems, Data Science, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience: 10+ years in manufacturing operations, process optimization, or digital transformation.
  • Demonstrated capabilities managing large complex global programs consisting of capital and operating expenses, virtual and cross functional teams.
  • Skills: Expertise in process control, advanced analytics, and AI/ML applications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong people management experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish relationships, influence outcomes, and deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences
  • Familiarity with GMP regulatory compliance in manufacturing environments.
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
  • Ability to travel to key Pfizer manufacturing sites (25% travel)

Responsibilities

  • Product Leadership and Strategy - Own the DOC and Insights products roadmap, governance, delivery and budget.
  • Define and execute Digital and Technology solution strategies to achieve operations excellence, cost reduction, and yield optimization.
  • Manage Program and Product delivery in collaboration with engineering and data science teams to design, build, and deploy solutions and ensure robust data pipelines for PGS.
  • Use AI and Analytics to forecast trends and improve decision-making to help identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced operational efficiency.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive standardization and replication of successful solutions across manufacturing sites using Agile.
  • Establish KPIs and monitor performance against targets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with site leadership, Forward Impact Team, and cross-functional stakeholders to align on objectives.
  • Communicate program progress and value creation to executive leadership.
  • Manage people, technology, and financial resources, potentially utilizing resources outside of direct authority
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Maintain documentation and audit readiness for all solutions.
