About The Position

Requirements

• Experience or familiarity with hand tools and assembly techniques.
• Ability to keep accurate records as required.
• Ability to perform lifting operations including jobs that may have some heavy lifting.
• Safety conscious and oriented, quality conscious and oriented, and dependable.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Willingness to work overtime.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Experience with hand and air-powered tools or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Use an air grinder, sanders, hammers, and various other assorted hand tools.
• Grind and sand parts to remove burrs and smooth rough spots.
• Use steam cleaners and/or power washing equipment as needed.
• Complete paperwork such as logs and part ticket numbers with information related to the part.
• Perform painting and gluing operations that do not require a respirator.
• Carry out various assembly jobs based on verbal and written instructions.
• Keep various records as required.
• Perform operations that may require heavy lifting.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards, and be quality conscious.
• Maintain a good attendance record, be self-motivated, and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
• Comply with all requirements of the waste handling training & procedures.
• Comply with all requirements of the Job Safety Analysis for this position.
• Comply with all requirements related to the care & maintenance of your required PPE.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
