About The Position
A global manufacturer with facilities in Lancaster, NY is looking to hire a Manufacturing Final Inspector on a full-time basis. This position is responsible for the final inspection of customer orders and the issuance of airworthiness approvals as applicable.
Responsibilities
- Perform authorized individual functions in accordance relevant FAA regulations and orders
- Remain knowledgeable of the applicable FAA airworthiness standards, policies, and procedures
- Attend/complete FAA sponsored trainings
- Perform or witness inspections/testing of materials, parts, components, subassembly and end item products
- Perform airworthiness verification directly from blueprints, schematic drawings or other specification documents as needed
- Document and maintain Authorized Individual records and reports
