About the position
The Manufacturing Facility Security Officer position is designed to ensure the safety and security of client property and personnel. This role involves observing and reporting activities and incidents at an assigned client site. Security Officers are responsible for maintaining a secure environment by actively monitoring the premises, patrolling various locations, and providing customer service to employees and visitors. The position requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods, and may involve climbing stairs and navigating uneven terrain. Physical demands include lifting and moving up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally. No prior experience is necessary, and training will be provided for those new to the security industry.
Responsibilities
- Observe and report activities and incidents at the assigned client site.
- Provide security and safety for client property and personnel.
- Patrol various locations to maintain a secure environment.
- Enforce regulations and directives for personnel and visitors.
- Provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers.
Requirements
- Driver certification.
- CPR & First Aid Certified.
- Must pass drug screen and background check.
- Ability to meet state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
- Excellent customer service skills.
