Turner Industries is looking for a Manufacturing Facility Maintenance Mechanic for a site in Galena Park, TX. Successful candidates will be local, and have experience in all aspects of maintaining and repairing various pieces of automated packaging and production equipment in a Packaging and Manufacturing facility.

Requirements

• MUST have a valid driver's license

• Welding is a plus
• Robotics experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Valve troubleshooting and repair. 1/2" up to 10" valves, screw pipe and welded
• Experience with Actuators (electric and Pneumatic driven)
• Experience with case erectors and de-palletizers
• Experience with high-speed fillers
• Electrical control troubleshooting and repair
• Electrical distribution
• Electric motors removal/replacement/alignment
• Gear box assembly installation and removal/replacement
• Pump repair (diaphragm and centrifugal)
• Air compressors
• Conveyor belt repair
• Pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair
• Hydraulic systems troubleshooting and repair
• General, basic mechanical troubleshooting skills and background
• Problem solving through inductive and deductive reasoning
• Fabrication
