About The Position

As our Manufacturing Facilities Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and long-term performance of our manufacturing facility. You’ll ensure our equipment, infrastructure, and systems are reliable, safe, and optimized to support production goals. This role blends technical expertise, leadership, and strategic planning. You’ll work cross-functionally to balance operational efficiency with safety, compliance, and sustainability, making a real impact on how our facility performs every day. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field preferred.
  • 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing or facilities management.
  • Proven experience managing complex manufacturing facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
  • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facility Operations Management
  • Oversee daily operations within the manufacturing facility to ensure productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement systems and procedures to optimize workflows and reduce downtime.
  • Monitor equipment, machinery, and infrastructure to ensure proper functionality.
  • Maintenance and Repairs
  • Plan, schedule, and manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize disruptions.
  • Coordinate with internal technicians and external contractors for repairs and upgrades.
  • Ensure critical infrastructure (HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems) remains in optimal condition.
  • Budgeting and Resource Management
  • Prepare and manage budgets for facility operations and maintenance.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and reliability.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers.
  • Evaluate maintenance costs and recommend equipment upgrades or replacements when needed.
  • Health, Safety, and Compliance
  • Ensure the facility complies with all local, state, and federal safety regulations in coordination with the safety team.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure employees receive required safety training.
  • Team Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of maintenance staff, engineers, and technicians.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Foster collaboration and clear communication across departments.
